as a brother of Simon Wolffhardt, who was pastor in 1525 at Korb, a town n
ear Waiblingen. Thomas Wolfahrt married BARBARA SCHOENWALTER, daught
er of R.. SCHOENWALTER and ANNA ROEMER. ANNA ROEMER was one of three siste
rs of Johannes Roemer, pastor at Affalterbach, who left a legacy to the de
scendants of his three sistere. The documents involved in the distributi
on of this estate have been valuable in tracing the descendents in the ear
ly generations of the family.
